The architect behind every organized future.
Jen Fordham is an Independent Educational Consultant on a mission to help students and their families navigate the path to academic success with confidence and clarity. She believes every student is a one-of-a-kind individual who deserves personalized support to turn their goals into reality — because cookie-cutter approaches just don't cut it.
Jen's journey in education started with hands-on experience in educational therapy, coaching students with unique learning needs. This early work sparked her passion for helping kids understand themselves as learners so they can unlock their full potential. To this day, she weaves research-backed strategies into her work, empowering students to become more effective, confident, and independent learners.
With twelve years of experience as a high school teacher, private school administrator, and head of school, Jen brings a wealth of insight to the table. She knows the ins and outs of the education system and loves mentoring students as they grow — not just academically, but as well-rounded individuals ready to take on the world.
Her specialties? Executive Function Coaching and tailored support for teens and young adults with learning differences, ADHD, or mental health challenges. She firmly believes that success isn't one-size-fits-all, and she's here to help students find the path that works best for them.

The roles Jen holds for every student.
The Strategist
Ten years guiding students through college admissions have taught Jen where institutions look for signal — and how to help a student send it, authentically and consistently. She maintains her edge through campus visits, conferences, and ongoing professional development.
The Coach
Trained in executive function methodology, Jen builds the planning, prioritization, and self-monitoring systems that turn big goals into Tuesday-morning habits.
The Advocate
Above all, Jen is a steady, honest presence in an education system that often feels anything but. She protects and prioritizes the student's wellbeing as fiercely as their academic outcomes.
Grounded in expertise, connected to community.
Jen stays ahead of the curve by attending top education conferences and remaining active in the professional organizations that set the standard for her field. She also volunteers with Partners in College Success (PiCS), supporting first-generation students on their journey to higher education.
When she's not guiding students toward their goals, you might find Jen enjoying a great book, exploring the outdoors with her son, or geeking out over the latest research in education. She's passionate about what she does — and she's ready to help students discover their own path to success.
"Admission is a threshold, not a destination. My work is to make sure a student steps across it already knowing how to thrive on the other side."
